PI participates in State Qualifying Tournament

On May 23, 2009 PI team participated in La Villa's SQT. Port Isabel won its first match against Ben Bolt, lost its second match to Lago Vista, 5 to 7 scoring, and lost its third match to La Villa in a triple OT game. Lago Vista and Rice Consilidated won their pools and advanced to the State Tournament. Other teams in attendance were La Feria, Lyford, Hidalgo and Palacios.
